Usually if you are criticized for doing something, it means that you are trying to do something that’s actually upsetting the norm and is worthwhile. If nobody cares what you’re doing and you get no feedback and no criticism, then you should waste your time on it anyways.

The only way to persuade someone else to follow your dream is to lead them to the same conclusion you had. That only you can make the choice to be better, and it’s all on yourself to create the action necessary to achieve it
