Many people think they need to wait till someone brings them up to lead people, projects or teams. But actually it’s a lot faster if you just decide to do it and then just lead people now. Offer your help where you think you can do the most good. Look for opportunities where people are struggling and it’s apparent to you but it might not be apparent to others.

By doing this one thing, people will see you as a leader, your Managers, your peers, even your friends.

“You gotta make something exist before you can make it better”. This includes your own leadership skills. So start small but start now.
