Tech is going through a rough time. Not only were there massive layoffs, mostly due to an R&D Employment Credit that Expired late last year, but with all the developments in Ai, we may see even more soon.

It’s a rough time, and while Tech has seen it fair share of rough times, like during the dotcom bust, their still always were jobs and it was a growing market.

This video talks about a Software Engineer’s struggle about how he’s not sure if he should even be a Software Engineer anymore because of how long he’s been unemployed:

Warning: Some Rough Language Ahead

This is sentiment is growing daily. It’s the main reason why I’m writing this newsletter. I’m hoping we can fix issues like this, where STEM people get disenfranchised with their work.

Hopefully we can all help each other so that we can overcome problems like this together.
