Is that so bad?

When the Tech gets acknowledged by the Press, it’s always a about a Company raising Millions, or some egregious mistake they made that costed Millions. They make it sound like everyone in Tech is only after becoming a Billion Dollar Company, a Unicorn. But if the very nature of a Unicorn is in it’s rarity, why do they get all the press?

Where’s the interest in the Solo Entrepreneur who feeds his family on a 300k/Year Business? Where’s the newsworthy accolades of the Developer who made an app that made Number #13 on the App Store?

It’s comparable to Small Businesses of America. The majority of Business is done by Small Businesses in this country, and that it even happens in Tech. Too bad most of Interest is in Billion Dollar Companies that get bought and traded as often as stocks. To have a real connection in Business, you need to be small, and most of the time, Small is just Ok thing to be.
