I see many people always complaining about not being given enough opportunities to lead. They feel like their career is stagnating or that no one is willing to give them a promotion.

But you can give yourself a Promotion any time you want, just start a Business. It could be on the side, it could full time, but you instantly become the leader. You can run it however you want, hire whoever you want, you can do things your way. The only problem lies in that you’re probably too afraid to do, you’re afraid you won’t make money, you’re afraid you’ll fail.

But is that any less of a reason to try anyways? Would you rather just wait for that promotion that will never come?
